In the spring of 2021, a life was tragically cut short in Newark, New Jersey. Halee A. Wing, a 42-year-old Black / African American male from Millstone, found himself on the 100 block of Pacific Street on the evening of Tuesday, May 18th. In a sudden burst of violence that shattered the evening, Wing was struck by gunfire in the city's Ironbound section. The incident left another individual wounded, hinting at a chaotic and dangerous scene that unfolded on the Newark street.
