In the early morning hours of September 11, 2021, the life of a promising young male, Elijah Zyimar Wilson, a 20-year-old Black resident of Paterson, New Jersey, was tragically cut short. Police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 2:50 a.m. and discovered Wilson lying at the corner of East 18th and Fulton streets with gunshot wounds.
