In the late afternoon of a spring day in Camden, New Jersey, the life of Turhan Hudson, a 29-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short. On April 21, 2022, at approximately 2:51 p.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the air in the Liberty Park neighborhood, prompting a ShotSpotter activation and a flurry of 911 calls that drew Camden County Police to the intersection of 10th and Thurman streets.
