In the early evening of Friday, October 21, 2022, the life of Carl Brown, a 36-year-old man from Irvington, New Jersey, was tragically cut short. Gunshots shattered the quiet of the 400 block of Park Avenue in East Orange, leaving Brown with fatal injuries. He was discovered at approximately 5:50 p.m. and rushed to University Hospital in Newark in a desperate attempt to save him. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he was pronounced dead a short time later, at 6:18 p.m.
