On a late Friday night in Oceanport, New Jersey, the life of 41-year-old Amad Jones was tragically cut short. On December 30, 2022, police responded to a report of a shooting on Gosselin Avenue in Fort Monmouth just before 10 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jones, a male who had previously resided in the borough, lying in the road with a gunshot wound to his chest. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
