On January 20, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan, a tragic family incident resulted in the deaths of 36-year-old Helen Trzemzalski, her husband, and their two sons, Edward and Henry. The perpetrator was Helen's father, who, after committing the murders, took his own life.

Helen, born Helen Grzybowski on November 3, 1904, in Union Township, Branch County, Michigan, was married to Mr. Trzemzalski, and together they had two sons: Edward, born in 1924, and Henry, born in 1929.
