In the quiet farming community of Allendale, Michigan, the afternoon of March 13, 1982, brought a horrific discovery that would shatter the town's sense of peace. Robert W. Paulson, a 42-year-old White male, was found deceased in his family's burning farmhouse. The tragedy, however, extended far beyond a single life lost. Inside the home, authorities would also find the bodies of his wife, Mary Jane, and their three daughters, Cynthia, 18, Carla, 13, and Casey, 8.
