Carla Sue Paulson, aged 13, tragically lost her life on March 13, 1982, in Allendale, Michigan. She was one of five victims in a horrific mass murder that shocked the community. The perpetrator, Maris Karklins, who described himself as a "hit man for God," was convicted for the slayings of Carla, her parents Robert and Mary Jane Paulson, and her sisters Cynthia and Casey.
