Mary Jane Avery Paulson, aged 40, tragically died on March 13, 1982, in Allendale, Michigan. She, along with her husband Robert Paulson and their three daughters, Cynthia (18), Carla (13), and Casey (8), were victims of a brutal murder. The family was found shot to death in their home, which was subsequently set on fire. The bodies were discovered by a neighbor in the burned-out house.
