Sheri Jo Elliott, a 16-year-old girl from Flint, Michigan, tragically lost her life in November 1983. On the morning of November 16, 1983, Sheri left her home on Seneca Street at 6:30 a.m. to walk to her bus stop near the intersection of West Dartmouth and Clio Roads. She was last seen walking to the bus stop, but she never made it to school. Four days later, on November 20, 1983, her body was discovered in a ditch by a muskrat trapper in Blumfield Township, Saginaw County.
