In the small community of Ceresco, Michigan, a sense of loss was felt with the passing of Lawrence Edward Allen. A man of 52 years, he died at his residence on a Saturday, the twenty-first of October, 2006. Born in the nearby city of Battle Creek on October 18, 1954, Lawrence was a familiar face in the area, having spent his earlier years there before moving to Ceresco. His life was one of service and dedication, both to his country and his family.
