James Erik Turns, a 31-year-old resident of Granger, MI, passed away on January 14, 2014. His death was the culmination of a tragic series of events that began with a criminal act. Turns was identified as the suspect in an arson case involving a Walmart store in Niles, Michigan. On the weekend before his death, he allegedly set fire to a clothing section at the Walmart and stole electronics from the store.
