Matthew Lundy, a 32-year-old resident of Charlotte, Michigan, died on February 17, 2015, in Eaton Rapids Township. His death occurred following an encounter with Eaton County sheriff's deputies. On the morning of February 17, Lundy's recently purchased Chrysler SUV was found stuck in a snow-covered ditch along Canfield Road. A passerby reported the situation to 911, noting that the driver appeared to be intoxicated.
