Jmeil Amahnd Clark, a 34-year-old Black male, was on his way to work on the night of March 5, 2015, when his life was tragically cut short in Saginaw, Michigan. The father of three was shot multiple times at 122 S. Fourth in what became the city's first homicide of the year. Born on April 16, 1980, in Saginaw, Clark was known as a devoted father, a wonderful son, and a beloved brother.
He had a passion for cooking, working on classic racecars, and engaging in deep, philosophical conversations.
Known for his kind nature and readiness to help others, Jmeil's death sent ripples of grief through his family and the wider Saginaw community. He attended Buena Vista schools and was employed by Drain's 7-11 in Birch Run. His presence is deeply missed by his three children, Jmeil, Davalier, and Amahriya, his parents, and his brothers. In the wake of his death, family and friends gathered to march against the 'senseless violence' that took him from them.
Despite the efforts of the Saginaw Township Police and the Michigan State Police Crime Lab, no arrests have been made in connection with Jmeil Clark's murder, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The investigation into his death remains open, with law enforcement continuing to seek information that could lead to the person or persons responsible. His family continues to hope for justice as the case remains unresolved.
