In the spring of 2014, the life of 23-year-old Darquis Vontrell Drake was tragically cut short in his lifelong home of Saginaw, Michigan. Known affectionately as 'Dar Dar,' he was fatally shot on the evening of April 30, 2014. At the time of his death, Drake was a beloved son, grandson, and brother who was known for his infectious smile and his ability to bring laughter to those around him.
