At approximately 9:20 PM, in the 2700 block of Thatcher Street in Saginaw, Michigan, tragedy struck. Officers from the Saginaw Police Department were dispatched to the scene following a call and discovered Pacheco inside his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. His death marked the second homicide in the city of Saginaw for the year. Pacheco was remembered as a loving fiancé, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, on August 16, 1964, and had moved to Saginaw as an infant.
