In the early morning hours of a spring day in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Jalen Braswell-Thompson, a 20-year-old male, was found unresponsive on a residential street on Thursday, May 28, 2015. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his chest.
