In the late hours of a summer evening in Flint, Michigan, the life of Jarrett Alexander Kent was tragically cut short. On August 11, 2015, the 26-year-old African American male was fatally shot on the 2200 block of Devon Lane. The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m., and Kent was rushed to Hurley Medical Center where he succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
