Antieno Devel Smith, a 46-year-old male, was fatally shot in Flint, Michigan on September 1, 2015. The incident that led to his death unfolded with a brazen daylight shooting and a subsequent high-speed chase.
The events began to transpire when police were called to the scene of the shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Smith with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Goodman was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as fleeing and eluding police. Thompson faced an additional charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
The legal process moved forward with both men standing trial for their alleged roles in the death of Antieno Smith. Ultimately, both Tyshawn Goodman and Lavell Thompson were convicted on all charges.
