On a cold February evening in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the lives of a father and son were tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence. Seventeen-year-old Tyler Daniel Smith, a male, and his father, Richard Smith, were at a local car dealership on February 20, 2016, when they were fatally shot. The two were reportedly looking at vehicles when a man opened fire on them in the parking lot.
