Alexandra Nicolette Brueger, a 31-year-old nurse from Holly Township, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed while jogging on a dirt road in rural Rose Township on July 30, 2016. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Fish Lake Road, a route she regularly ran as part of her 10-mile routine. Brueger was shot four times in the back, and her body was discovered on a front lawn by a passerby who immediately called 911.
