Robert Lewis Hicks, a 30-year-old resident of Westland, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed on August 4, 2016, in Inkster, Michigan. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on the 4100 block of Wayland Court, near Middlebelt and Annapolis. Michigan State Police responded to the scene as part of their "secure cities" partnership with Inkster.
