Demond Carlus Bridgeforth, a 28-year-old resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan, tragically lost his life on June 10, 2017. Bridgeforth, who was paralyzed and used a wheelchair following a previous shooting in 2011, was shot and killed on Sheldon Boulevard SE near Oakes Street. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Sheldon Avenue SE, where Bridgeforth was found deceased at the scene.
