In September of 2017, the quiet community of Bridgman, Michigan, was unsettled by the deaths of a well-known couple. Pamela Ackerman, a 67-year-old White female, and her husband, Donald, were found deceased in their Baldwin Road home on September 16th. The discovery was made after concerned family members contacted police, reporting that they had not heard from the couple for several days.
