In the quiet hours of the day after Christmas in 2020, a devastating act of violence shattered a Flint, Michigan community. Belinda Ayanna Hart, a 45-year-old woman, was inside her home when it was targeted in a drive-by shooting. The hail of gunfire tragically ended her life on that Saturday, December 26th. The senseless act also claimed the life of her 10-month-old grandson, Romelo Kenneth Jones, Jr., who was with her at the time.
The violence that unfolded saw numerous shots fired

Belinda was pronounced dead at the scene, while her infant grandson was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
