Andre Devion Davis, a 54-year-old male, was killed on Saturday, February 3, 2018, in a residence on Cranwood Lane in Flint, Michigan. His life was cut short in a brutal triple homicide that also claimed the lives of his 77-year-old mother, Sharon Kaye Davis, and 68-year-old James Edward Fagan. All three victims were found fatally shot. The grim discovery prompted a swift and intensive investigation by the Flint Police Department and the Michigan State Police Major Crimes Unit.
The
investigation quickly zeroed in on a suspect who was tragically close to the family. Jeffrey Jamelle Glover, the 27-year-old grandson of Sharon Davis and nephew of Andre Davis, was apprehended by authorities just two miles from the scene of the crime. The arrest was made without incident, aided by information from two individuals who were present when police arrived. Glover, a resident of Flint Township, had a criminal history and was on parole at the time of the killings, with prior felony convictions for possession of narcotics and maintaining a drug house.
Following his arrest, Jeffrey Jamelle Glover was charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony. The Genesee County prosecutor's office pursued the case, and Glover was arraigned in the 67th District Court. While a definitive motive for the devastating act of violence was not publicly released, the familial connection between the alleged killer and his victims added a deeply disturbing layer to the tragedy. A conviction on the charges carried a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
