In the summer of 2018, the life of 26-year-old Kleontay T. Jamison was cut short in a barrage of gunfire in his hometown of Pontiac, Michigan. A Black male, Jamison was fatally shot on Friday, July 20, 2018, in what became the city's 11th homicide of the year.
