Matthew Boeck, a 29-year-old man from Howell, Michigan, was found dead on November 16, 2018, in a wooded area near Lewiston, Michigan. His body was discovered around 11:45 p.m. by Michigan State Police Troopers after a call was made to the Oscoda Dispatch Center. Boeck's body was located near Town Line Road and Farrington Road, and he had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.
