Dontae Lawrence, a 21-year-old resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2019, as a result of a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the 2100 block of North Burdick Street in Kalamazoo Township. According to reports, shots were fired, and officers found Lawrence lying in the road with a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
