On a summer evening in Detroit, what began as a simple stop for snacks turned into a tragedy that would forever alter the lives of one family. DreVaughn L'Tellis, a 22-year-old male, was with friends on June 15, 2020, when they pulled into an Exxon gas station on West Eight Mile Road. As they returned to their black Dodge Magnum, the night was shattered by the sound of gunfire.
