DreVaughn L. Tellis, a 22-year-old father from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost his life on June 15, 2020. Tellis was fatally shot at an Exxon gas station located on Eight Mile and Meyers on Detroit's northwest side. The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. as Tellis was exiting the gas station with a few friends. The gunfire also struck another man who was pumping gas, but he survived the attack.
