Taj’ Jacquez-Armani Carter, a 19-year-old from Benton Harbor, Michigan, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2020. The incident occurred at the Phillips 66 gas station in Benton Harbor, where Carter was shot in the chest during a drive-by shooting. According to reports, the shooting happened around 11:10 p.m., and a Good Samaritan transported Carter to the hospital before the police arrived.
