In the late hours of an October night in Flint, Michigan, three-year-old Messiah Williams was in his living room with his babysitter and older sibling when the house was suddenly riddled with gunfire. A bullet struck the young boy in the head, and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries on October 23, 2020. Investigators found that 67 bullets had been fired into the home on Oklahoma Avenue.
