Katoya McPherson, aged 33, was found dead alongside Floyd Brashers Jr., aged 36, in their apartment in Kalamazoo Township, Michigan, on December 28, 2020. Both victims had sustained gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled as homicides. The investigation revealed that the double homicide stemmed from a dispute over a car. D-Angelo Davis, who lived with McPherson and Brashers, had lent them his car, a Ford Taurus, which they allegedly did not return, leading to escalating tensions.
