Morgan Alexandria Jean Dawkins, an 18-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on May 19, 2021. Morgan was an innocent bystander caught in a shooting incident at a gas station on Detroit's east side. She had just arrived at the gas station with her friend when shots were fired. Morgan was still in her best friend's car when both were struck by bullets. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Morgan succumbed to her injuries.
