Marissa Leigh Valdez, a 24-year-old resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan, tragically lost her life on September 8, 2021. Marissa was a beloved mother to her children, Amir and Amirah, and was known for her vibrant personality and dedication to her family and friends. She graduated from Forest Hills Northern High School in 2015 and later from Ross Academy as a medical assistant.
