Michael Artis, a 56-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost his life on September 12, 2021. Artis was murdered in a robbery that took place in the parking lot of Seaway Market Place on Detroit's west side. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. when Artis was out buying items for tailgating ahead of the first Sunday Night Football game of the NFL season.
