In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Muskegon, Michigan, a 63-year-old man named Earnest Hardy from Grand Rapids tragically lost his life. On October 5, 2021, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the Muskegon Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 1400 block of Terrace Street. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Hardy suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
Despite the immediate response from law enforcement, Earnest Hardy succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into his death began promptly, with authorities seeking to piece together the events that led to the fatal shooting. To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide.
