In the late autumn of 2021, the community of Pontiac, Michigan, was shaken by the violent and untimely death of Alneta Needo Cooks. A 56-year-old woman, Cooks was fatally wounded in a shooting on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. The incident that claimed her life left a void in the lives of her family and friends, who remember her as a cherished mother, grandmother, and loving fiancée.
