In the late hours of a spring evening in Pontiac, Michigan, the life of 25-year-old Shalita Renee Hunter, a female and a devoted mother from Southfield, was tragically cut short. On May 13, 2016, she was found in the middle of the intersection of North Roselawn and Maines streets, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Investigators determined that she had been killed at another location before her body was left in the quiet residential neighborhood.
