Kenyetta Barnes, a 32-year-old mother of seven from Pontiac, Michigan, tragically lost her life on April 14, 2015. According to reports, Kenyetta was shot multiple times by her 21-year-old boyfriend, Akira McCray, during an argument at their home on Shirley Street. The incident occurred in an upstairs bedroom, where McCray pulled out a handgun and fired several shots at Kenyetta, hitting her in the chest.
