On a cold January day in 2020, the life of Kaneisha Williams, a 32-year-old Black female and devoted mother of three from Pontiac, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On January 22nd, Williams was fatally shot while desperately trying to escape from a man in the vicinity of North Eastway and East Pike. A neighbor witnessed the harrowing scene of her running towards their home, followed by the sound of multiple gunshots.
