On the night of January 20, 2022, Desmount Dixon, a 33-year-old male, was in the 25000 block of Lincoln Terrace in Oak Park, Michigan, for what authorities believe was a marijuana transaction. During this encounter, an attempt was allegedly made to rob him. In the course of the incident, a weapon was produced, and Dixon was shot.
