On a cold November night in Detroit, the life of a 27-year-old aspiring rapper named Steven McWilliams-Dix, known to many as Stewy Bando, was tragically cut short. On November 27, 2022, McWilliams-Dix was at the Truth Gentlemen's Club on 8 Mile Road with friends when an ongoing feud with another man reportedly reignited. The altercation spilled outside, where the male shooter fired several rounds, striking and killing him.
