Patrolman Bobby Joe Biggert, a dedicated officer with the Jackson Police Department in Mississippi, tragically lost his life on February 23, 1989. At the age of 39, Biggert was off duty when he encountered an armed robbery at Dr. Duck's Pawn Shop located at 4601 Raymond Road. Despite being off duty, Biggert attempted to intervene and stop the robbery, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to public safety. Unfortunately, during this brave act, he was shot and killed by the suspect.
