In the winter of 2014, the life of 33-year-old Antonio Brockington of Raymond, Mississippi, was violently cut short. His body was discovered on January 23rd inside a vehicle that had been set ablaze on Springridge Road in Hinds County. It was a grim scene that hinted at a brutal and calculated act.
An autopsy would later confirm the horrific nature of his death; Brockington had been shot multiple times at close range before the fire was started.
Investigators believe he was shot at least six times. The violence of the act suggested a personal motive, launching a complex investigation into who would have wanted the young man dead.
A few days prior to the discovery of his body, a fire had been reported at a house Brockington owned on Myrtlewood Drive.
