In the spring of 2014, the life of 24-year-old Reginald Reese was cut short by gun violence in Jackson, Mississippi. On the night of March 22nd of that year, an altercation unfolded at the Virden Addition Park, a community space that tragically became a crime scene. During the dispute, Reese was shot and sustained injuries that would prove fatal.
