In the late summer of 2014, the community of Port Gibson, Mississippi, was shaken by the deaths of two of its residents, 32-year-old Kawanna Williams and 28-year-old Melvina Hedrick. The grim discoveries were made on consecutive days in August, with their bodies found discarded under two separate bridges in Claiborne County.
