Kristy Lynn Mitchell, a 49-year-old woman from Excelsior Springs, Missouri, tragically lost her life on November 19, 2015, while attending a business conference in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Mitchell was staying at the Drury Inn and had walked to Logan's Roadhouse for dinner when she was shot in the abdomen by an unknown assailant driving a blue Mustang. Despite being rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for surgery, she succumbed to her injuries.
