Madison Sims, aged 48, from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, died on May 30, 2016, as a result of a gunshot wound sustained during an altercation at a gas station. The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. at a gas station located at 5696 U.S. 49. Sims was involved in an argument with Andre Antonio-Rapheal Baker, which escalated into a shooting. Sims was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle and was later taken off life support on June 2, 2016.
