In the summer of 2016, a dispute over a video game console tragically escalated, leading to the death of Danny Keith Cherry in Jackson, Mississippi. On July 18th of that year, the 33-year-old Black male was shot in the face. Reports indicate the violent confrontation stemmed from an argument involving an Xbox gaming console.
